The seminar “Academic journals: editorial management and scientific communication” was successfully held. This meeting was organized by Editorial y Bibliotecas UdeC within the framework of the project “Improvement and development of the electronic edition of 9 scientific journals in the Academic Journals Platform of the University of Concepción”, awarded through the Scientific Journals Publication Fund Contest, 2020 call for applications, of the National Agency for Research and Development of Chile, ANID.

Meanwhile, Ariel Soto, editor of Academia y Negocios Magazine (RAN), was in charge of the presentation called “UdeC Magazine Platforms: the RAN experience.” The researcher said: “I highlight the opportunity to compare RAN with the Revista de Historia, which – like RAN – underwent positive changes when it joined the platform, but being a magazine with a longer history, the transformation process was different. For this reason, I believe that the experience of the Revista de Historia (in this transformation) is a valuable input for RAN.”
